Billing
Billing for Addressfinder is per organisation. Organisations are administrative entities that enable you to add users, share license keys, and manage billing.
Organisations are billed for usage. Refer to our Pricing page for details.
View invoices
You can view and download invoices from the Billing section in the Portal for each organisation. You'll be sent to the Stripe billing portal where you'll have the option to download the invoice.
Payment options
We process payments through Stripe. Monthly invoicing requires a credit card on file.
How we use credit cards
We require an active, valid credit card on file for most Addressfinder accounts to access and use our verification services. This is primarily a means to prevent abuse and ensure that we can collect payment at the end of the month.
Pre-authorisation requests
We may send a pre-authorisation request to the issuing bank to verify a bank will authorize charges. Some credit card companies present these as real charges, which may surprise you.
A pre-auth is really just a hold on a credit card; it is not a real charge. We’ll typically pre-authorise a small amount (usually less than $5) after sign-up, then cancel the authorisation immediately. Banks may show the pre-auth for up to 7 days, even though we have not collected any money.
Pay by invoice
Organisations on the annual Business plan or Enterprise plan can opt in to pay for Addressfinder by invoice.
New invoices will be forwarded to the billing contact's email address at the beginning of each billing period and are due by the 20th of the following month.
Annual plans
We offer annual plans to organisations who are looking to commit to using Addressfinder longer term, as well as save some money whilst doing so.
An annual plan gives you the ability to use your lookups at any stage over the course of a year so you can offset busy months with quiet months.
How it works
- Our annual plans are prepaid only, meaning you prepay one year worth of lookups in bulk in one go. You can use these lookups with any of our verification services during the billing period (usually 12 months).
- If you use all of your prepaid lookups, your plan will auto-renew early for another year.
- You can subscribe to any of our monthly plans and select Pay Yearly to get an annual plan.
Changing plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription anytime at no extra costs. To change plan, go to the Billing section in the Portal and click on Change plan.
Downgrades will be scheduled after the end of the current billing period. If you change your mind, you can pick a different plan at any time before the plan change occurs.
Upgrades are immediate, a new billing period will start and an invoice will be issued for the new plan plus any existing overage from your previous plan.

Cancel your subscription
To cancel an active subscription, go to the Billing section in the Portal and go through the Cancel steps at the bottom of the page.
You will still be able to use your subscription until the end of your current billing period.
To avoid being charged for extra lookups after cancelling, we recommend deregistering your domains in the Portal to stop the service immediately.
Delete your account or organisation
